Inaugural Anantara Food Festival scheduled for April

Anantara Hotels & Resorts has just announced plans for an annual food festival in the UAE. Anantara Gourmet 2015 will run from April 9 through April 16 at both the Anantara Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa in Abu Dhabi and the Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa.

Among the notable chefs making an appearance are Michelin-starred Danish chef Henrik Yde-Andersen (who specialises in Thai cuisine), sweets and pastries chef Claire Clark from the UK, chef Igor Macchia who will prepare modern Italian cuisine, Australian chef Mike Tafe and Australian chef Dylan Jones (also know for Thai cuisine). In addition, local celebrity chef Houria Zanoun will host an Arabic language masterclass featuring her signature desserts.

The week-long food festival will end with a charity gala held at the Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa in Abu Dhabi on April 16.
