Abu Dhabi: The Dining Room, Jannah Burj Al Sarab

The Dining Room is the all-day dining restaurant in this recently opened hotel. Executive chef Hussain Rammal has created feast with a range of traditional Arabic dishes as well as international flavours that will appeal to the masses. Dishes include fried kibbeh, cheese sambousek, Arabic mixed grill, lamb biryani and beef stroganoff. There is also an array of Arabic beverages and sweets, macaroons and fresh fruits and puddings to give your iftar a sweet ending.

Dubai: Mori Sushi, Downtown Boulevard

This newly opened sushi restaurant is serving up a five-course set menu for Ramadan called Over the Moon. Bites include spring rolls with shrimp and basil, suimono soup (clear soup), bonbon parcels with baby shrimp and mozzarella, and crispy shrimp and avocado roll. To keep things festive, the fourth course of nigiri, uramaki (inside-out sushi rolls) and hosomaki is served on a platter in the shape of a crescent moon. The iftar ends with a selection of oriental desserts and drinks.
