Brunch at Crave
Crave, the newly opened all-day dining restaurant at the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Residence, is preparing to launch its family brunch, which will be held on the first Saturday of every month, from April 6 onwards. The brunch starts at 12.30pm and costs Dh90 per adult and Dh45 for children age 6 to 12. Crave promises a vast international buffet and arts and crafts activities for children.
Kids cook at Emirates Palace
On April 13, Emirates Palace is holding a "cook with all your senses" event for children age 7 to 13. The hotel's pastry chef Alexander will oversee proceedings, as the children get involved in cooking a selection of dishes. Zuma comes to Abu Dhabi
Zuma is coming to the capital. The high-end Japanese restaurant, which has proved extremely successful in its DIFC location, will be opening in Abu Dhabi towards the end of the year. Zuma Abu Dhabi will be located in Sowwah Square on Al Maryah Island and will feature a lounge and bar as well as a restaurant area complete with sushi counter and robata grill.
Colour-coded menus
Petals Restaurant at the TI’ME Oak Hotel & Suites in Tecom and Brio Restaurant at the TI’ME Grand Plaza Hotel has launched a colour-coded breakfast menu so healthy options can be selected easily. The buffet spread is divided by colour, with blue denoting low-fat options, orange indicating high-energy products, brown for high-fibre choices and green for low-cholesterol. Wagyu at Raffles
Fire & Ice, the grill restaurant at Raffles Dubai, has a treat in store for steak lovers in April. The entire month it will be serving wagyu beef – tenderloin, striploin and rib-eye.
