Measuring a huge 1.5 metres from crust to crust, could this be the longest pizza in the UAE?
The owners of Cucina Mia restaurant in Dubai Marina think so, and have recently added the gigantic cheesy treat to the menu.
As part of the eatery’s Pizza by the Metre promotion, customers can can specifically designate the length of their meal, with it ranging from a more manageable 25cm in diameter right up to the metre and a half-long whopper.
The idea for the pizza came from Cucina Mia’s co-founder and executive chef Domenico Serra.
He says he utilises knowledge he’s inherited from his family to create the dish. With it's super-thin crust, it only takes 1.45 minutes to cook in a specially-built wood-fired oven.
As delicious as it looks, as it's the equivalent of six normal-sized pizzas, we doubt anyone could finish a whole one to themselves.
