Dubai Foodie News: A chic new lounge, Aussie Day at UBK and Delphine Restaurant from California opens

The new venue And Lounge opens next Wednesday in The Address, Dubai Marina. With its industrial yet chic decor, the lounge celebrates artistic expression and unique personalities in a warm, personal setting. The food on the small menu is meant to share (with complimentary bites between 6pm and 8pm each night it’s open). The menu won’t be revealed until opening day, but we’ve been told to expect homestyle cooking prepared with fresh ingredients. Beverages will be served vessels that include milk bottles, camel’s head mugs, jam jars and even trophies. And Lounge will feature live music from the 1920s through the 1990s and is open Tuesday through Friday from 6pm to 3am. 04 551 9698

Delphine Restaurant & Bar will open next Thursday at The H Dubai hotel. The concept comes from Southern California and brings with it the laid-back, west coast attitude California is known for. Delphine, brought to the world by the same group behind BOA steakhouse in Abu Dhabi, will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even some late night lounging). The menu will feature modern, California bistro cuisine.

Head to Urban Bar and Kitchen (UBK) this Saturday to celebrate Aussie Day in style. The festivities will include a traditional Australian barbecue with bangers and mash, burgers, brisket, chips and homemade barbecue sauce. Salads, sides and more will also be on hand to fill you up.
