Cipriani Dubai opened the doors to its first Dubai venue this week in DIFC. It’s the second location for Cipriani in the Middle East, after Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

The brand comes from Giuseppe Cipriani, the man who founded the renowned Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy, in 1931. Cipriani now has restaurants worldwide, in cities including New York, Monte Carlo, Hong Kong and Mexico City.

The Dubai restaurant can seat 300 guests and offers indoor and outdoor seating. The two-level space features a dining area on the top level and a bar on the lower.

The menu includes classic dishes that have come to define Cipriani’s cuisine, such as baked tagliolini, calf’s liver alla Veneziana with fried polenta, carpaccio, and classic tiramisu for dessert.

“It is with immense pleasure that we open the doors to our newest Cipriani,” says Giuseppe Cipriani.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for the brand and I cannot wait to share the Venetian traditions that are at the heart of the Cipriani philosophy with this dynamic and world-leading city.”

Next month, the restaurant will open a separate private lounge area – called Socialista – at the back of the restaurant, where guests will be able to mingle late into the night.
