A new buffalo mozzarella cheese made with milk from UAE dairy farms, and water buffalo milk imported from the south of Italy, has gone on sale in the UAE.
A product of the Italian Dairy Products company, the mozzarella is pearly white in colour and has a deep, smooth taste with a Mediterranean aroma. Other freshly handcrafted cheeses in the Emirati milk range include burrata, nodini (little knots), treccia (braid shape), silano loaves for pizza use and smoked ricotta.
The cheeses are available at a selection of stores across the UAE including Carrefour and Lulu Hypermarket.
