Friday brunches are a regular pastime for many Dubai residents, but there's now an even more opulent option: you can brunch on a 220-foot-long commercial yacht that will sail around Arabian Gulf waters every Friday and Saturday.
The world's largest yacht is reportedly the Azzam (which is 590 feet long), so the Dubai brunch yacht, called the Lotus, is about a third the size of that, making it among the two or three hundred largest yachts in the world.
The brunch will cost from Dhs149 with food and soft drinks, and will feature all the normal trappings: live cooking stations, a buffet and entertainment - but from the confines of a luxury yacht.
The Friday feast is being sold as "the world's first Mega Yacht Brunch Cruise", and it will sail around the Burj Al Arab and Atlantis, The Palm during the trip.
The Lotus has a 3,500 square foot sun deck, a 3,500 square foot fully air-conditioned indoor lounge, a 500 square foot swimming pool with waterfall and jets, a 200-capacity nightclub, an on-board cinema that seats 60, a VIP Jacuzzi area, 11 bedrooms and five decks.

This isn't the only the unusual food experience Dubai has to offer, you can also dine in a revolving restaurant in Deira, eat on the 122nd floor of the world's tallest building or enjoy your dinner on a platform 50 metres from the ground while suspended by a crane.
