This year’s Abu Dhabi Food Festival has added a touch of Hollywood glamour to its menu with John Cusack joining guests for the Gourmet Abu Dhabi part of the 2016 edition.
Accompanying Cusack on the guest list for the festival that runs from December 5 to 23 is fellow actor Jesse Metcalfe. “These two stars represent a fantastic addition to this year’s Abu Dhabi Food Festival, adding that little bit of stardust seasoning to our already popular event,” says Sultan Al Dhaheri, Acting Executive Director Tourism Sector, TCA Abu Dhabi.
Cusack’s dinner appearance on December 16 will be a luxurious culinary affair in which 12 diners will have the opportunity to share a table with the actor in Emirates Palace’s Presidential Suite.
One of Hollywood's elite, Cusack has starred in a multitude of movies including Being John Malkovich and Grosse Pointe Blank. On December 17, he will attend a dinner at the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi.
Metcalfe, most famous for his role on Desperate Housewives, is set to make a special appearance at Catch at the Nation Riviera Beach Club, on December 9, where he will play host.
The 19-day Abu Dhabi Food Festival, dedicated to world-class cuisine and culinary delights, is spread across five weekends and features themed dinners, food trucks, live entertainment, celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, meet and greets, cookbook signings and mall activities.
