A look at the best Easter weekend dining options in the UAE

It’s a few days until Easter weekend. Afshan Ahmed rounds up some of the best dining options available for friends and family.

Shores Restaurant, Dubai

Shores Restaurant at Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach is throwing a bunny themed brunch buffet, complete with children’s play area and dedicated kids food corner. The buffet will include a rush of egg creations such as seafood thermidor with poached eggs, Irish lam stew with eggs and white chocolate egg tarts.

Frankie’s Italian Bar & Grill, Dubai

This award-winning restaurant at Jumeirah Beach Residence, done up by celebrity chef Marco Pierre White and jockey legend Frankie Dettori will create a special four-course Easter menu with traditional Italian fare. This Auguri di Buona Pasqua Easter menu can be enjoyed with live entertainment.

Sofitel Dubai Downtown

Sofitel will set the Easter brunch by the infinity pool with multiple food stations and street food options from China, Japan, Mexico, France and the Middle East around the terrace. There will also be a child-friendly station with an Easter Egg hunt for the kids.

Fairmont The Palm, Dubai

Flow Kitchen has organised a brunch, a petting zoo and an Easter Egg hunt for families visiting the hotel on the day. The gourmet brunch will feature traditional favourites like spring leg of lamb, roast beef and chicken, a salad and sushi bar and pizzas. The kids corner will include a dessert station with chocolate truffles and ice cream. An egg hunt will be organised at 2pm and young kids can also pet rabbits in the zoo from 1pm.

The Galleria Mall will have Easter activities throughout the weekend. The Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory Treasure Hunt will be organised for kids visiting the mall. Kids will have to go on a treasure hunt as teams trying to crack clues. There will also be traditional Easter egg painting, card making and rabbit mask making. Magnolia Bakery will whip up a fresh batch of cupcakes that children can decorate with their favourite frostings and toppings.

Get into the festive mood with a New York-style Easter breakfast at the hotel on Saturday with eggs, freshly baked croissants, bagels, French toast, fluffy pancakes, quiches and pastries, paired with shakes, juices, espresso and fine teas on The Terrace.
