Foodies will already know about the Waterfront Market in Deira, a place to source super-fresh produce in Dubai, particularly seafood and local goods.
This weekend the market is hosting a food festival of its own, the Waterfront Market’s Foodie Carnival.
From March 28 to 30, the sea-facing marketplace will host a weekend of "food-focused fun". Entrance to the carnival is free.
At the carnival guests can expect cafe and restaurant pop-ups, live cooking stations and food trucks.
Restaurants taking part include Poke Poke, Food Castle and Hooked.
There will also be plenty of activities and entertainment to keep kids busy, including a bouncy castle, balloon-animal-twisting and carnival games.
