Peppered with celebrities and legends of the fashion world, the trailer for
Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes For Lizards
offers a glimpse at what promises to be a funny, warm and in-depth study of the man known as The King of Shoes.
The trailer features fashion giants such as Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of
Vogue
, who says she doesn’t even look at other shoes, and famed fashion journalist André Leon Talley. In the trailer, legendary fashion photographer David Bailey who shot Blahnik for the cover of
Vogue
laughs as he says the Spaniard was difficult and that he should have got someone like James Dean instead.
Also making appearances are John Galliano, Naomi Campbell, Paloma Picasso and Rihanna. Directed by Michael Roberts, the film will be released on September 15.
