We might not all be blessed with Beyonce's ability to hold a tune, but there is something of the Grammy-winning singer's that you could soon own.

The head-turning black gown that the Halo star wore in 2018, designed by Lebanese duo Azzi & Osta, could find a place in your wardrobe, if you are ready to splurge.

The voluminous, ruffled creation, which the singer wore to Clive Davis's pre-Grammy Gala, is set to be sold as part of an auction of celebrity-owned gowns, organised by A-list stylist Elizabeth Stewart.

A number of dresses will go under the virtual hammer to raise funds for global humanitarian organisation Direct Relief, specifically to support its Covid-19 relief efforts.

The auction, named Chic Relief, will be held on e-commerce platform eBay, with bidding kicking off on Sunday, May 17, at 7pm EST (Monday, May 18, 3am in the UAE).

“I really wanted to do something to help front-line workers get the basic protection needed to combat this virus,” said Stewart, who has worked with the likes of Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts and Jessica Chastain.

The stylist said 100 per cent of proceeds will go towards Direct Relief, which is working to provide PPE to healthcare workers, and eBay has pledged to make a sizeable donation in return.

"Right now [until Sunday, May 31], eBay is matching dollar-for-dollar up to $1 million [Dh3.6m], when shoppers donate to Direct Relief via eBay," Stewart told WWD.

Labels set to be auctioned off include Louis Vuitton, Ralph & Russo, Bottega Veneta and Lebanon's Georges Hobeika, worn by the likes of Roberts and Amy Adams.

While the full lot is yet to be unveiled, among the dresses up for sale is the pink chiffon gown Jennifer Lopez wore to the 2018 American Music Awards, designed by Beirut-born Georges Chakra.

A beaded jumpsuit by Kuwait couturier Yousef Al Jasmi, and worn by rapper Cardi B, is also set to go under the hammer, along with the Mary Katrantzou gown worn by Blanchett at this year's Golden Globe Awards.

Bidding will continue until Wednesday, May 27, at eBay.com/chicrelief.
