NBA fans will be able to get their hands on the latest limited-edition Stephen Curry Under Armour shoes when they go on sale in the UAE on Friday, June 24.
The Under Armour Curry 2.5, part of Stephen Curry’s Signature Footwear Collection, is inspired by the basketballer’s “precise movements and focus under pressure”.
Curry, who earned an NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors in 2015 and played on the team that finished runners-up in the 2016 championship after losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers 89-93 in game 7 of the finals series today, was the first person in the NBA to be unanimously voted Most Valuable Player. He has also been called the best shooter in the history of the competition after breaking his own record for the most three-point goals and helping his team set a new record with 73 straight wins.
A limited number of the Curry 2.5 – in “73 and 9” and “Dub Nation Royal” colours – will be available at Under Armour stores in Yas Mall and Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi, and Ibn Battuta Mall, City Centre Mirdif, Dubai Festival City and Deira City Centre in Dubai.
