The much-awaited Galleria expansion, officially a mall called The Galleria Al Maryah Island, opened its doors to a sizeable crowd on Wednesday, September 4.
Full of high-street and speciality stores, food court fare, stand-alone restaurants and plenty of child-friendly services, the new mall will cater to shoppers, foodies and families alike.

Shoppers can also make a beeline for beauty brands including Etude House and Charlotte Tilbury, as well as high-street stores Monki, Next and River Island.
Coming soon to The Galleria Al Maryah Island
Although the capital's first Kinokuniya will open in the first quarter of next year, here's a list of stores, eateries and other services which will roll out over the next few weeks: 2XL flagship, Bin Sina Wellness, Boots Opticians, Centrepoint, Dyson, Jose Eber, Just Kidding, Jumbo, Kashmiri Honey, Kilian, Le Cadeau, Lolli & Pops, L'Occitane, La Senza, Nars, Petit Bateau, Penhaligons, Steve Madden, Tara Jarmon, Mattress Store, Toy Store, United Furniture, Undiz, Villeroy & Boch, Vision Express and Waitrose.
Caboodle and Xtreme Zone, too, will open later.
