When it comes to fashion, 2019 was a glorious affair, with ethereal, voluminous gowns and dresses dripping in otherworldly adornments.
Celebrities including Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie, Priyanka Chopra and Cate Blanchett sported some of the year's most memorable creations, with a wealth of ateliers dreaming up modern, streamlined numbers and dramatic, ultra-romantic ensembles.

Among the labels that scored a place on our best-dressed list were regional favourites, including Georges Chakra, Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad, which were worn to awards ceremonies, film festivals and premieres throughout the year.
Also making a splash were designers including London's Ralph & Russo, Italy's Armani Prive and France's Louis Vuitton.
Taking our picks into consideration, it appears the red carpets of the year were defined by clashing prints, a futuristic splash of silver and metallic creams and plenty of plumes.
We can't wait to see what the couturiers have in store for 2020.
