It's a festival that positively oozes glitz and glamour, and there's one star we can seemingly always rely on to turn the style dial up a notch.

The annual Cannes Film Festival is currently in full motion in the French Riviera, and Deepika Padukone has been, yet again, proving why she's one of the most stand-out stars on the event's red carpet.

The Padmaavat actress made fashion-magazine headlines this weekend, sporting a voluminous Giambattista Valli gown to the screening of Dolor Y Gloria on Friday.

The 33-year-old, who is married to fellow Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, teamed the whimsical, ruffled creation with a peach-hued headwrap.

Padukone also stepped out on Thursday night in a theatrical, monochrome Dundas dress to attend the screening of Rocketman.

Finished with an oversized, retro bow and a flowing train that draped down the carpeted stairs of the Palais des Festivals, the gown skyrocketed the actress into the festival's best-dressed lists.

But it's not the first time Padukone has dazzled at Cannes, having made a trip to France for a number of festivals past.
