His work has graced the red carpet for years but now, Michael Cinco's designs will get their moment in a new spotlight.
The Filipino designer, who lives and works in Dubai, has crafted a couture collection to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ballet Philippines.
The pieces will be showcased in a gala performance held on Sunday, September 9, where a show inspired by Swan Lake will take to the stage at Manila's Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom.
The show, choreographed by Alden Lugnasin, will feature dancers clad in custom creations by Cinco, who has dressed stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Aishwarya Rai.
The couturier has also created a 50-piece fashion collection for the occasion, which will also be showcased on the night in a runway display.
To mark the upcoming collaboration, Cinco posed with two of Ballet Philippines's most famous figures: the organisation's president, Margie Moran, and legendary dancer, director and choreographer, Alice Reyes.
"All set for the couture show for the 50th anniversary of Ballet Philippines with Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran and National Artist Alice Reyes," Cinco captioned the shot, which he shared with his 1.1 million Instagram followers.
The designer, who founded his eponymous label in Dubai in 2003, will travel to his home country for the gala event, where he will be a guest of honour.
To mark the occasion, Moran posed in a black, shimmering creation by Cinco, which she shared on Instagram.
"My Michael Cinco moment. Michael will honour Ballet Philippines with a 50-piece collection on the occasion of its 50-year anniversary," she wrote.
Following the gala, Ballet Philippines will host performances of Swan Lake as part of its silver anniversary.
This is not the only event showcasing Cinco's talents in the next few weeks; the designer is also the subject of an upcoming exhibition at Savannah College of Art and Design's SCAD Museum of Art.

The museum, located in Savannah, US, is giving fans a chance to get a closer look at the couturier's intricate and elaborate work, which has also decorated Hollywood A-listers such as Beyonce and Rihanna.
The exhibition, which marks Cinco's first solo museum show, will take place between Thursday, October 3 and Sunday, January 5, 2020, and will bring some of the designer's most recognisable work from the UAE to the States.
