The April issue of Luxury magazine is out this Thursday, with The National newspaper. This month's Luxury is the Watches & Jewellery edition. The fashion shoot focused on jewels. Sarah Maisey, The National's Fashion Director, said: "Without costing it all up, we've got Dh15 million to Dh20m worth of jewellery coming through this room today."
Each piece of jewellery featured in the shoot came with its own bodyguard and each had to be insured for the address the shoot was taking place and the time slot it would be shot in.
Examples of the jewellery were a Joséphine tiara in white gold, with brilliant-cut diamonds, worth Dh1.9m from Chaumet, paired with a Van Cleef & Arpels Liane necklace in yellow gold, with diamonds, turquoise and aquamarines worth Dh486,300.

What is Financial Fair Play?
Introduced in 2011 by Uefa, European football’s governing body, it demands that clubs live within their means. Chiefly, spend within their income and not make substantial losses.
What the rules dictate?
The second phase of its implementation limits losses to €30 million (Dh136m) over three seasons. Extra expenditure is permitted for investment in sustainable areas (youth academies, stadium development, etc). Money provided by owners is not viewed as income. Revenue from “related parties” to those owners is assessed by Uefa's “financial control body” to be sure it is a fair value, or in line with market prices.
What are the penalties?
There are a number of punishments, including fines, a loss of prize money or having to reduce squad size for European competition – as happened to PSG in 2014. There is even the threat of a competition ban, which could in theory lead to PSG’s suspension from the Uefa Champions League.

Hydrogen: Market potential
Hydrogen has an estimated $11 trillion market potential, according to Bank of America Securities and is expected to generate $2.5tn in direct revenues and $11tn of indirect infrastructure by 2050 as its production increases six-fold.
"We believe we are reaching the point of harnessing the element that comprises 90 per cent of the universe, effectively and economically,” the bank said in a recent report.
Falling costs of renewable energy and electrolysers used in green hydrogen production is one of the main catalysts for the increasingly bullish sentiment over the element.
The cost of electrolysers used in green hydrogen production has halved over the last five years and will fall to 60 to 90 per cent by the end of the decade, acceding to Haim Israel, equity strategist at Merrill Lynch. A global focus on decarbonisation and sustainability is also a big driver in its development.
