The Golden Globes are barely behind us before the year's next major red-carpet event has taken hold.
The 25th annual Critics' Choice Awards took place in California last night, drawing stars of the big and small screen to The Barker Hangar to fete the best films of recent months.
Among the A-listers who made an appearance were Oscar winners Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron and Renee Zellweger, along with Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya and Saoirse Ronan.
Lupita Nyong'o, Laura Dern, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Anne Hathaway also put their best foot forward on the red carpet, with punchy colour-blocking and intricate embroidery featuring among the night's most memorable gowns.

Shimmering metallics and autumnal hues also made an appearance, with labels on the red carpet including Tom Ford, Prada and Valentino.
Labels from the region were well-represented as always, with Lopez sporting a sleek Georges Hobeika gown and Mandy Moore donning an elegant Elie Saab jumpsuit.
