Before they took their star turn on the red carpet, celebrities adorned in Chopard jewellery were captured - in myriad fun and quirky poses - by British photographer and filmmaker Greg Williams.
One of the earliest users of digital video technology, Williams is a regular at the Cannes Film Festival, while Swiss luxury label Chopard is one of the event's official jewellers and designs the Palm d'Or trophy.
Celebrities including Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard and Lupita Nyong'O also modelled for Williams, showcasing their outfits and jewels even as they stood, sat or lay down on all manner of props and against various backdrops. Take a look in our gallery above.
