Arab film stars have been out in force this week for Egypt's El Gouna Film Festival.

Now in its third year, the festival celebrates the best of global cinema, with a focus on Arab stars and films.

There has been plenty of red carpet action so far this week, with a spotlight on regional designers, showcasing looks by Antoine Kareh, Maram Borhan and Youssef Kamoun, among others.

This year, El Gouna Film Festival runs from Thursday, September 19 to Friday, September 27 in Egypt's Red Sea resort town of the same name. The programme for the 2019 event features a range of regional and international works, including Parasite, the winner of the Palme d'Or at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival​.
