Fridays and Saturdays spent relaxing in the sunshine at Ripe Market has to be one of the highlights of UAE life when the temperature drops.
Now, the popular series of markets is set to become pet friendly, with the opening of a dog park.
Unleashed is launching at the Ripe Market's Dubai Academy Park venue, at the Dubai Police Academy in Umm Suqeim. It will be open seven days a week.
"If there’s one lesson we learnt from last season, it is that Dubai has thousands of animal lovers," Ripe Markets has announced. "And the biggest (and most in demand!) request we got almost every weekend, was to launch a doggie park for all your furry friends.
"Well, we heard you loud and clear ... Unleashed will be a permanent fixture of the Academy Park venue. Seven days a week. Book a spot as early as now and get your four legged cuties registered and assessed with Unleashed."
To be able to take your pet pooch down, you have to register here, and book an assessment slot, ensuring vaccination records and pet passports are both up to date and available.
Taking your pet along to Unleashed, however, is not free. They are offering tiered payment options, but book before Tuesday, October 1, and you can enjoy daily access until May 31, 2020 for Dh1,750.
Memberships are available to buy through Spot.
The Instagram promises, monthly events, coffee and treats, and "park perks". It opens to the public on October 1.
Ripe Market's outdoor season launches on Friday, October 25 at Academy Park, Dubai, and on Friday, November 2 at Umm Al Emarat Park, Abu Dhabi.
