Ras Al Khaimah’s Manar Mall announced it is launching the Tridom entertainment centre for children, which will feature the tallest indoor drop tower in the Middle East, as well as what will be the UAE’s largest covered play area.
It is the first indoor adventure park of its kind in the Northern Emirates and forms part of Manar Mall’s expansion project.
If you are wondering what a drop tower is, in this particular case it is a 40-metre high amusement ride that features a central, vertical structure that is encircled by a "gondola" that takes riders to the top and is then released, with the seated thrill-seekers experiencing rapid free fall, which slows as the gondola nears the ground.
Riders can then be sent hurtling up again, bounced around and dropped, so it is probably best not to do this after demolishing a big slab of cheesecake.
Tridom will be operated by Landmark Leisure and will also feature a Ferris wheel, dodgems, "Super Spin" (which twirls riders in mid-air through 360-degrees) and a ride called Air Racer, which is said to give a realistic flying experience.
Manar Mall is open seven days a week and is located close to RAK’s city centre. Tridom is scheduled to officially open on June 12.

5. Make the right hardware selection and always refresh it. We are in a time where a number of security improvement processes are reliant on new processors and chip sets that come with embedded security features. Buy a new personal computer with a trusted computing module that has fingerprint or biometric cameras as additional measures of protection.
