Princess Charlotte, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, celebrates her fifth birthday today, an occasion that has been marked with the release of four new photographs of the British royal.

Kensington Palace tweeted the images yesterday, stating that they were taken last month by her mother as "the family helped to pack and deliver food packages for isolated pensioners in the local area".

In the photos, Princess Charlotte is seen carrying bags and knocking on a door.

Last month, Queen Elizabeth also celebrated her 94th birthday, amidst the coronavirus lockdown. The occasion was also marked with the release of an archive family video and photos.

Red flags
  • Promises of high, fixed or 'guaranteed' returns.
  • Unregulated structured products or complex investments often used to bypass traditional safeguards.
  • Lack of clear information, vague language, no access to audited financials.
  • Overseas companies targeting investors in other jurisdictions - this can make legal recovery difficult.
  • Hard-selling tactics - creating urgency, offering 'exclusive' deals.

How do Sim card scams work?

Sim swap frauds are a form of identity theft.

They involve criminals conning mobile phone operators into issuing them with replacement Sim cards by claiming to be the victim, often pretending their phone has been lost or stolen in order to secure a new Sim.

They use the victim's personal details - obtained through criminal methods - to convince such companies of their identity.

The criminal can then access any online service that requires security codes to be sent to a user's mobile phone, such as banking services.
