October 10 is considered the most sought-after wedding day of 2020, but what do numerologists have to say about it?
It may not be the best 'numerological' date for marriage
After February's once-in-a-century palindrome (02/02/2020) comes another date this year with a special ring to it: Saturday's October 10, 2020 (10/10/2020).
It is the 10th day of the 10th month of the year, reading the same regardless if one writes the month or day first.
It is also considered to be the most sought after wedding date of the year.
In numerology, which is the study of the significance of numbers, 10 is a karmic number, which signifies new beginnings and could mean a new door opening or a rebirth, according to numerologist and published author Felicia Bender.
"10/10 is a day when we can all push the 'reset' button if we so choose," she writes.
The number 10 is also considered lucky.
However, when looking at the date in full, the numbers add up to give us what in numerology is called a Six Universal Day (1+0+1+0+2+0+2+0). According to numerologists, the universal day creates a theme that will affect people, and six is not the best for marriage.
Six is a number about harmony, healing and nurturing.
The universal day provides the energy that the couple want to have on their wedding day. Universal days best for marriage are numbers 1 and 7.
In the world of numerology, it seems that a happy marriage all comes down to having done the right math.
