Its sprawling red roof is a landmark in the capital, and soon you'll be able to scale the top of the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi building.
The motoring-inspired theme park, located on Yas Island, will welcome a series of new attractions this year, including a Roof Walk experience that will allow guests to set foot on the venue's signature canopy.
The destination will also launch a 400-metre zip line, with both experiences – which visitors will need to buy a separate ticket for on top of the general admission pass – set to open later this year. A launch date and ticket prices have not yet been confirmed.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is also introducing a child-friendly new Family Zone, which will open next month. The attraction is dedicated to younger visitors, and will feature miniature, child-approved versions of four of the park's most famous rides, namely the ultra-fast Formula Rossa rollercoaster, the Turbo Tower rollercoaster, a Speedway Race and the Flying Wings ride.
To further bolster Ferrari World's child-friendly offering, the park has also added a new kids' menu at its on-site Italian restaurant, Mamma Rossella.
The new attractions have been planned to coincide with the theme park's 10-year anniversary, which will take place in November. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi first opened its doors on November 4, 2010, as the world's first Ferrari-branded theme park.
"We put guest experience at the heart of everything we do and make it a priority to continuously elevate the offerings we deliver for both residents and tourists in the UAE," said the park's general manager, Bianca Sammut.
Ferrari World, which features a range of rides and attractions inspired by the carmaker, is already home to the world’s fastest rollercoaster, Formula Rossa, as well as live shows, driving simulators and Flying Aces, which has the world's tallest non-inverting loop.
