IMG Worlds of Adventure offers free flights if you buy an admission ticket

If you pay the theme park's Dh299 entry cost, you can use that to redeem a free round-trip flight

If you like theme parks and you like to travel, Dubai’s IMG Worlds of Adventure has a ridiculously good deal.

Starting July 14, those who head to the theme park and purchase an admission ticket of Dh299 will receive a guaranteed, free round-trip flight ticket for destinations including Athens, Baku, Istanbul, Manila and Muscat from Abu Dhabi and Dubai. A full list of locations can be found here.

That’s right, the flight is free – however, fees and taxes will still need to be paid. Luckily, these will be capped at Dh99 per person.

How it works

After you purchase a theme park admission ticket, you can visit www.flyfreewithIMG.com and enter the promotion codes (up to four) within 21 days.

While also filling out an application, you will choose your departure airport (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Riyadh, Delhi, Mumbai, Amsterdam, London, Paris or Rome) and then choose three locations as well as three possible travel dates.

Within seven working days of getting everything approved, you will receive a link to the final step of the application. At this point, you can add up to three additional passengers (as well as upload passport information). This must be completed within 72 hours of receiving the link.

Within 14 days of completion of your application, you will receive a flight offer via email. In order to take advantage of the deal, you will have to accept it within 48 hours.

What’s the catch

You can’t necessarily choose where you’re going, what time your flight is or which airline you will travel on. An offer will be made only after you redeem your ticket and indicate your preferred dates. You also cannot cancel or change the flight after you’ve accepted.

The offer for the free flight is capped at two tickets. However, if there are four tickets brought, the third and fourth passengers will be charged 50 per cent of the fare rate. All passengers still have to pay the Dh99 taxes and fees, and the offer is for economy class tickets only.
