Roxy Cinema is offering 40 per cent off cinema tickets throughout Ramadan. Until the beginning of June you can get cinema tickets from Dh20 at all Roxy Cinema branches, including City Walk, The Beach at JBR, Boxpark and La Mer.
The cinemas are currently showing Avengers: Endgame, A Dog's Journey, De De Pyaar De, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile and more.
The discounted tickets cost Dh20 (silver plus) and Dh30 (gold plus). Or you can go all-out and book a Platinum Plus ticket with a three-course meal and drink for Dh140 per person.
A cinema for kids at The Dubai Mall
That isn't the only cinema news this week. Reel Cinemas at The Dubai Mall has launched Reel Junior, a dedicated screen for kids. There is already a Reel Junior cinema at Dubai's The Springs Souk.
The cinema includes comfy bean bag seats, and is currently showing kid-friendly movies like Pokemon Detective Pikachu, Ugly Dolls, Wonderpark and Aladdin.
There are refreshment options aimed at little ones. The Kids Combo starts at Dh21 and include a small popcorn, a Sunblast juice and small bag of skittles. Or you can opt for the Dh25 Fade Fit Combo for kids, which includes a small popcorn, Fade Fit snack, and a Sunblast juice.
