Here are five things you should not miss today:
Get in a free workout
Punch is one of Abu Dhabi’s newest boutique gyms and will be offering free boxing classes from 10am until 6pm. If that’s not your style then there is also a Zumba class at 2pm as well as a Vanity Fitness beach boot camp from 5.30pm until 6.15pm. There’s also stand-up paddle boarding until 6pm. So throw on your workout gear and enjoy some fitness fun in the sun.
Get your glitter on
Anyone can look fabulous with a glitter makeover. From 4pm until 7pm, there will be a glitterati body art workshop in which people can get their weekend glow on with a Glitterati makeover suited to their personal style.
Pick up a succulent
Artificial plant shop Bloomr, which is based in Dubai, has set up a pop-up stall and the team is selling succulents for as little as Dh30. A passion project from Swedish husband and wife ZoZo and Leah, the shop sells flowers and plants guaranteed to last forever (being artificial and all) and can really make your home pop.
Try a vegan popsicle
Dubai’s House of Pops has a stand at Club Social so why not try their 100 per cent natural, vegan, handmade fruit popsicles? Choose from flavours such as mango and passion fruit or Lime Mint. Prices start from Dh20.
Enjoy the live entertainment
You might have missed the performance by Bastille already, but live entertainment is going on all day today at Club Social until 10pm. The line-up includes DJ Megrov, Echo Vessel, Bibi Luna, Leone Murphy, Shaun Warner and DJ Brooklyn.
