February 14 isn't just for loved-up couples, as these five activities prove. For those of us who don't care for Valentine's Day, this is what else is happening around Dubai that day, whether you're looking to mend a broken heart or just enjoying your newfound freedom.

The Smash Room

In the mood to break something? Head to the Smash Room in Al Quoz and try out their Anti-Valentine’s Day package. Pick any song that might remind you of a former flame and get to smashing. The package includes a TV with your former partner's name sprayed on it to smash, 10 glasses to break, as well as any other things you bring along (hint: old gifts) to destroy.

The Justin-Britney break-up party

Remember the break-up of the decade in the early 2000s? Who could ever forget when pop stars Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake split? Well, certainly not The House Party Bar Dubai. They’re  throwing a '90s Single Party where if your name is Britney (or any other variation, such as Brittany) or Justin your drinks will be free for the night. The aim is to get as many Britneys and Justins into one room as possible. Is this the making of a new world record?

The bonfire at Double Decker

Feeling the need for a new change? Want to get rid of things that no longer serve you?
