Saudi Arabian and French naval forces conducted joint military exercises on Wednesday, Saudi state media reported.

The joint exercises aim to enhance regional "maritime security operations", the Saudi Press Agency said.

Also on Wednesday, the Royal Saudi Air Force prepared for Saudi-Greek exercises  in Greece this month.

The joint drills will include F-15C combat aircraft and air, technical and support crew.

Commander of the participating RSAF Group, Col Abdul Rahman Al Shehri said these exercises hone the participants' skills in their technical and supportive roles.

On Tuesday, RSAF Cdr Lt Gen Turki bin Bandar met US Air Force Central Commander Lt Gen Gregory Guillot to discuss matters of regional concern, SPA said.
