The winners of the third edition of the Ebda’a Award were announced yesterday at the 2015 Abu Dhabi International Jewellery and Watch Show (JWS). The competition looks to encourage creativity and innovation using regional inspiration with the aim to promote careers in the industry.

The winners were Salama Khalfan for Day Wear Jewellery; Asma Abdalla for Evening Wear Jewellery; and Sheikha Alserkal for Contemporary Interpretation of Traditional Jewellery. All were awarded trophies designed by artist and competition co-founder Azza Al Qubaisi, along with certificates of graduation from IGI School of Gemology.
