DUBAI // More than half a million people have visited the UAE pavilion at the Milan Expo since it opened in May.
The pavilion daily attracts between 7,000 to 8,000 visitors to watch the short films, presentations and cultural events on the UAE and related to the theme, ‘Feeding the planet, Energy for life,’ said Abdullah Mohammed Al Aidarous, deputy commissioner-general of the UAE pavilion.
The pavilion is organised and supervised by the National Media Council. Federica, 10, who visited the pavilion with her family, was the 500,000 visitor and was presented with a gift to mark the occasion, according to Wam the state news agency.
