UK daredevil claims he was arrested after climbing Dubai tower - in pictures

James Kingston on Monday told his 6,500 Twitter followers that police arrested him after the climb.

Many of his followers were keen to see footage of his climb and said they hoped police had not confiscated his video

Kingston has scaled some of the world’s tallest structures.

Kingston may have climbed several Dubai buildings recently. An Instagram picture posted on Sunday shows him looking down from the top of another building.

It is not clear when he was arrested but he continued to post on social media a couple of hours after his original tweet.

He has posted many videos of climbs up cranes and buildings in recent years and gathered a huge following on his YouTube channel.
