SHARJAH// A new training programme has been launched for hotel staff as the emirate aims to attract 10 million tourists by 2021.
It is the second phase of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority’s Marhabtain programme and will focus on office staff including receptionists and customer service representatives, who deal directly with tourists and guests.
It will improve the communication skills for staff to improve service.
The project is part of the Sharjah Tourism Vision 2021.
