The Burj Khalifa was Dubai’s most-visited tourist attraction last year, with 1.87 million visitors ascending to the observation deck on the 124th floor.
Of the international tourists who visited the world’s tallest building, the highest percentage of them came from Germany with 23 per cent, followed by the UK at 15 per cent.
Russians and Indians came joint third with 11 per cent each and the US comprised 10 per cent of the visitors.
Total visitor numbers were up 13 per cent on the previous year.
