The former US president Bill Clinton has been confirmed as the keynote speaker at the World Travel and Tourism Council global summit in April.
More than 40 leading public figures, including the British journalist Sir David Frost, the American actress Daryl Hannah, the adventurer and environmentalist David de Rothschild, and James Hogan, the president and chief executive of Etihad Airways, will among those speaking at the two-day summit on April 9 and 10.
The summit will examine the changing world economy and the travel and tourism sector.
Mr Hogan said the event will "showcase the remarkable emergence of Abu Dhabi as a global economic centre and a tourism and aviation hub".
The event will be held in Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, followed by a gala dinner at Emirates Palace.
