The Abu Dhabi Stand Up Paddlers are celebrating their second annual festival on Saturday at Emirates Palace Beach.
More than 100 paddlers have signed up for the various races, and many others have said they will come to cheer on their family and friends.
A special “tandem race” has been organised for couples as the event is on Valentine’s Day.
Participants of all ages can compete in the 4 kilometre, 2km and 500 metre races. There will also be sprint races and team relays. Events begin at 9am.
