Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority has launched a mobile app providing residents and visitors a list of events happening in the emirate.
Available in Arabic and English, the free-to-download app allows users to add events and alerts to their social media calendars and provides them with the location of events.
“This is an initiative to make our residents and visitors more aware of just how much is happening in the emirate and to enable them to explore them at ease,” said Mouza Al Shamsi, acting executive director of Marketing and Communications at TCA Abu Dhabi.
Ms Al Shamsi said the app helped promote Abu Dhabi as a destination to a wider audience as well as creating awareness for the authority’s initiatives.
