The UAE has no intention of depegging the UAE dirham from the US dollar, or to join the GCC monetary union, the Governor of the UAE Central Bank, Sultan Nasser al Suwaidi, said today.
''The UAE stance remains unchanged," Mr al Suwaidi confirmed during a press conference he held on the fringe of the 31st GCC Summit.
