Etihad Airways opens refurbished premium lounge at Abu Dhabi Airport

Etihad Airways has officially opened its refurbished First and Business Class Lounge at Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Terminal 1.

The lounge measures 1,044 sq m and has seating for 134 guests. It also features a dedicated dining area, state-of-the-art business amenities, complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, USB power outlets, bathrooms with shower facilities, and a playroom for children.

The Six Senses Spa at the lounge has been refurbished, with guests able to make use of a complimentary 15-minute spa session.

The Terminal 1 Premium Lounge is open to Etihad Airways First and Business Class guests, qualifying Platinum Etihad Guest members and the equivalent tier loyalty programme members of Etihad Airways Partner airlines flying from Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi Airports reported a 17.2 per cent increase in passenger traffic at Abu Dhabi International Airport during the first half of 2015.
