Abu Dhabi will host the Global Aerospace Summit 2012 between April 16 and 20, it was confirmed yesterday.
Global Aerospace Summit 2012, hosted by Mubadala Aerospace, is a forum that brings together international and regional senior executives from across the aerospace, aviation and space sectors for a four-day event designed to promote cross-industry talks and discussions of future growth strategies.
Among those attending the summit will be James Albaugh, chief executive of Boeing Commercial Airplanes; Marwan Lahoud, the chief strategy and marketing officer of EADS; Francois Auque, the chief executive of EADS Astrium; Mary Ellen Jones, the president of Engine Alliance; August Wilhelm Henningsen, the chairman of Lufthansa Technik; Miles Cowdry, the director of global corporate development for Rolls-Royce; Reynald Seznec, the president chief executive of Thales Alenia Space; George T Whitesides, the chief executive and president of Virgin Galactic.
