Luxury British handbag label Aspinal of London has launched its collection for autumn/winter 2016. The purses are quintessentially English, featuring practical and easy-to-carry silhouettes in classic shades and finishings.
The Midi Marylebone design, also available in a miniature version, features a double-zip closure and is ideal for a day on-the-go. The Pearl Bowling bag, available in two sizes, is a deluxe handbag available in a range of neutral shades, with subtle pearl detailing. The Large Lottie bag is both sophisticated and versatile, and can easily be taken from day-to-night. The Mayfair design is timeless and classic, particularly the croc-texture versions, and its heather-grey model is sure to be a hit with customers seeking luxe, minimal designs for autumn. Finally, the Petite trunk clutches are available in prints, croc-textures and with trendy patch emblems.
The highlight of the new range, however, would have to be the Editor’s tote — a 1940s carryall tote that comes in a roomy, boxy shape, in a variety of colourways — personally, I have my eye on the monochrome model.
A special collaboration with illustrator Emma J Shipley, features the brand's classic handbags stamped with ethereal Pegasus drawings, and will also arrive in stores later this season.
