Gaming has come a long way since the days of Pong on Atari. With every new generation of gaming and gamers comes the discussion: should games be difficult to complete?

Game developers would argue that games are journeys, and with a journey can come hardship. The satisfaction of conquering and beating a game you once perceived as being too difficult releases a sense of euphoria and accomplishment.

This week, it was reported that a Dubai resident complained to consumer services that a game he purchased was too difficult to play. The authorities took his claim seriously, but ultimately discovered it was just his weak skills that were the problem.
