This weekend, the National Symphony Orchestra will be launching their 2013-2014 season with a concert of all-time favourite movie theme tunes. The shows, at the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers hotel, will feature songs from films such as Amélie, Star Wars, Superman, Les Misérables, Fantasia and The Dark Knight Rises. The ensemble will be led by conductor Andy Berryman, and will feature guest performances by some truly talented Emirati musicians, including singer Balqees Al Fathi and teenage pianist Sarah Al Kaabi.
