Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to perform on Eid at Dubai World Trade Centre

Keep your schedule open during the Eid Al Adha weekend to celebrate with music maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

The Pakistani singer, well-known for his Bollywood hits and Qawwali (Sufi music) tracks – will be performing at the Dubai World Trade Centre on September 16.

The artist, who follows in the footsteps of his famous uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, a Qawwali master who died in 1997, will return to Dubai with his new live touring show, featuring new movie songs and classical hits from the last few years. The show premiered at London’s 02 Arena on Pakistan Independence Day recently.

Khan's latest song Tumhe Dillagi has racked up more than 45 million hits on YouTube already.

The show in Dubai will also feature an unplugged segment in which the will artist perform a stripped-back acoustic set of hits, along with popular songs from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Khan says he is looking forward to performing again in Dubai. “I am very excited to perform brand new material and, of course, the classic hits for all the fans,” says Khan.
