R&B star Miguel will perform an intimate New Year's Eve show at a Pan-Asian restaurant in Dubai. The Adorn singer will be onstage at Novikov Dubai on December 31, performing to luxury listeners at an "exclusive dinner party" event.
It will be the final performance of a quiet year for Miguel, who has recently featured on singles from Schoolboy Q (Overtime) and John Legend (Overload), but failed to chart with his most recent release Waves, the third single from last year's third album Wildheart.
However the Grammy winner made a surprise turn in September, unveiling a cover of Beyoncé's Crazy in Love, soundtracking the trailer to upcoming sequel Fifty Shades Darker.
Based at the Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, Novikov is the name restaurant from Russian entrepreneur Arkady Novikov, who brought the brand to the UAE following ventures in Moscow and London.
Kicking off at 8pm on December, the dinner party package costs Dh1,500, with walk-in guests charged Dh500 for entry only. Contact 04 388 8744 for reservations.
