Actress Prachi Desai, who will portray the wife of former Indian cricket captain and politician Mohammad Azharuddin in the upcoming sports biopic Azhar, says it's going to be a tough task.
Asked how challenging would it be to play Naureen, Azharuddin’s first wife, Desai said: “It will be quite challenging as I don’t think anybody knows much about Naureen yet. We know about her, but we don’t know anything about her.”
Desai said shooting had already begun in London and she is looking forward to joining the team soon.
Emraan Hashmi will portray Azharuddin, who captained India for much of the 90s.
The film, produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Tony D’Souza, is scheduled to be released on May 13 2016.
