One Direction continue to top various charts. The mega-selling boy band have been declared Britain’s best-selling musical export for 2013, according to statistics released by the BPI.

The achievement has been driven by their latest album, Midnight Memories, which was released last November and within six weeks managed to become one of the biggest-selling album of the year in the UK.

Midnight Memories' success ruined the comebacks for Eminem and Justin Timberlake, whose releases came second and third respectively.
